Lo & Taylor // Engagement Session

Ya’ll. I’m sitting here typing this and I’m just so happy for these two gorgeous ladies. Lo (lauren) is one of my favorite humans in Tampa and I have had the pleasure of knowing her for a few years now. She is one of the owners of Style Hair and Makeup (sound familiar???) and I just feel so lucky to know her and have such a talented badass in my circle. When we first met I knew of Taylor as her best friend. They were from the same town, and had known each other as long as they could remember. A while back I remember talking to Lo and getting a text from her (gushing just a tad) that her and Taylor were no longer “just friends” and I remember I could just feel her excitement through her words and when I saw her in person I just remember the giant smile on her face and how everything just fell into place. Now here we are, these two are engaged and can’t wait to become wifey and wifey next year. I’m so honored I got to be the one to capture their love and I may be biased but these are some of my favorite images EVER.

If you want to stop the scroll and just watch a slideshow of their session, click play and enjoy (scrolling is just a hassle sometimes ok?!)

If you’re feeling nosey (we’re all a little nosey right?) and want some more details and want to see some of my favorites keep scrolling and let’s hangout for a few minutes friends.

We started their session in their home in St. Pete, these babes have the cutest space and a gorgeous Florida sun room reserved for snuggles and the occasional plant (heaven right?) and puppy kisses. Their rescue pups Charlie and Cooper weren’t sure what was going on but they did know that their mommas were snugglin and photos were happening and they did NOT want to miss out. In fact I think Charlie would have preferred if everyone else went home and she got to be the star of the show hahaha.

Apparently Taylor makes the Lo’s coffee the best, so Taylor made us all coffee and then of course needed a few more puppy kisses to get them through the day.

We went to one of my favorite spots by the sea. The weather was amazing and these bougainvillea vines made me so thankful that this is what October looks like in Florida. Theres a little pathway leading to the ocean that I seriously just can’t get enough of!!

At the end of our session we decided to play in the sand and the waves, and just enjoy the sunset. It was so much fun, if I could end every session by jumping in the water I 100% would lol. If you’re thinking to yourself, “are these humans even real?!” why yes…yes they are.

These two are such incredible humans and I’m so thankful to also call them friends and I absolutely cannot wait for them to become Mrs. & Mrs. next year!!!

Ps. Happy Birthday Lo!!!
