The Lockhart Family
Navarre Beach, Fl.
Hello Hello Hello!!! Today I am sharing with you a beautiful family session that took place on Navarre Beach, Fl. Navarre is a small beach town in the panhandle of Florida and also happens to be where I am from! I can't put into words how absolutely gorgeous this place is, so you'll just have to see for yourself! (road trip, duh! )
I just love the colors they chose for their session! You would think that wearing blue with a very blue background might be too much, but that is just not the case! The colors just really stand out and compliment each other nicely :)
Anytime I am doing a family portrait session I try to pull away each member of the family and grab a few shots of just them! It's a little something extra that can come in handy in the long run! These boys also happen to be my cousins so it was very easy to get them to cooperate because what can I say? They love their cousin Sam ;) hahaha
On a more serious note though, I have known these boys since they were little and they are both incredible young men! And I love how much they love their mamma! I mean come on!! a teenage boy who is not embarrassed to show their mom a ton of love?! It just doesn't get any cuter than that.
If I have enough time during my family sessions, I like to pull mom away for a few minutes to get a few shots of just her. While I feel family is the most important thing their is, I also know how hard it is as a woman to always feel up to par! Because I myself have an amazing mom, I have such an appreciation for every single mother I get to meet. If I get to be the person who makes a woman (or anyone) feel great about themselves, then what more can I ask for?
Photography for me is so much more than taking pictures! I get to meet amazing people and give my clients something to smile about not just during their session, but for years after that last *click* of the shutter. To me, I have the best job in the world. This blog post may be just a little more sappy then usual but that's ok ;) we're all friends here!
